Jaws VS The Shallows VS Deep Blue Sea VS Open Water : Movie Feuds ep172

Wiki Article

We haven't had a great shark movie in awhile so The Shallows was a refreshing return. A lot of reviewers compared it to Jaws as they inevitably always do. Jaws is the benchmark for monster movies. The Shallows learns from the 1975 masterpiece and puts it's own modern spin on it. It's essentially 127 Hours on a rock at sea.

This episode has something for everyone though so if you want to hear more about over-the-top shark flicks, take a look at Deep Blue Sea. Explosions, fake-looking cgi and impractical situations make this a very stupid yet very entertaining movie. For a more somber and serious tone, there's Open Water. Another survival picture, this time based on true events, of a couple left in the middle of the ocean. Sharks circle them for days as they wait for help or more likely, death.

Today Adam battles some of his favorite shark movies against each other. It's Jaws VS The Shallows VS Deep Blue Sea VS Open Water on Movie Feuds!
